What does the mission of BYUH mean to you?

To me, it means to use your talents and skills you’ve developed to help others.

How has BYUH blessed your life?

It helps me gain and education and develop professional skills. Before attending Brigham Young University–Hawaii, I worked for the Kauai Police Department. My time at BYU–Hawaii, where I earned a degree in Business Management, taught me many valuable skills in organizational leadership and leadership development. I initially had different plans after graduation, but it seems the Lord had other plans for me. Upon returning home, I was offered my old position back at the Kauai Police Department. I’m excited to apply the leadership and organizational skills I gained from my degree to help make the community on Kauai a safer place. I believe these skills will be instrumental in contributing to the department's success and positively impacting the community.
